Province-wide fire ban in effect
A fire ban has been declared for the provcince in accordance with Section 99 of the Forestry Act due to elevated Fire Weather Index ratings and extensive wildfire activity in Labrador. July 8th at 11:18pm, RNC officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence in CBS. Officers spoke to a man who said his wife assaulted him, and after further investigation, the 53-year old woman was arrested and charged with assault. She was held to appear in court this morning.
