Large crowd commemorates Memorial Day at National War Memorial in St. John’s

While many are celebrating Canada Day, July 1st also marks a solemn day in Newfoundland and Labrador. This Memorial Day in our province commemorates the 109th anniversary of the Battle of Beaumont-Hamel.
