Premier Andrew Furey travelled to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on Saturday to participate in a health care recruitment event and explore potential business partnerships and post-secondary education expansion.

Furey was joined by members of the recruitment teams from the Department of Health and Community Services and NL Health Services.

This trip is the latest in a series of health care professional recruitment trips that have occurred. Other trips included Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Saskatchewan in 2023 and participation in numerous health care recruitment trade shows.
