Hatcher Street Closed Following Watermain Break
Shortly after 6:30am today, the City of St. John’s announced a watermain break on Hatcher Street in the centre-city area. While repairs are being conducted, a portion of the street from University Ave to Oxen Pond Rd will be closed to traffic until 4pm. As well, residents of Hatcher Street between Burke Pl and Oxen Pond Rd can expect a loss of water, low pressure, or discoloured water. Water service disruptions should also end by 4pm. The City apologizes for any inconvenience.
