Last night at 11:00 p.m. the RNC were called to a disturbance at a residence in the center city of St. John’s.

As a result of an investigation, a 39-year-old female was arrested at a nearby residence.

She is charged with assault with a weapon and uttering threats.

The accused was released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.

There were no injuries as a result of the incident.
