Two people were sent to Carbonear Hospital on Thursday with unknown injuries after a single-vehicle collision on the Veterans Memorial Highway west of Jamie’s Way.

One person was extricated from the vehicle.

The Harbour Grace Volunteer Fire Brigade, Carbonear Volunteer Fire Department, RCMP and Collins ambulance attended the scene.

The intersection of Jamie’s Way was closed for a period of time.
