The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is deploying a team of investigators to the Goose Bay Airport, following a runway overrun of a Beech B200 Super King Air aircraft registered to Keewatin Air LP.

According to the TBS, despite the millions of successful movements on Canadian runways each year, airplanes sometimes go past the end of a runway surface during landings or rejected takeoffs. Runway overruns, can result in damage to airplanes and the environment, injuries, and even loss of life.

The TSB will gather information and assess the occurrence.
