On Sunday evening the RNC responded to a residential area of the Goulds to a report of possible gunshots.

Officers discovered evidence of a firearm being discharged at a home and located a 44-year-old male at the residence.

He was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and an additional six firearms charges, including reckless discharge of a firearm.

There were no injuries and the male was held for court.
