TCH closed between Gander and Benton due to serious collision

The RCMP in Gander is currently on the scene of a serious motor vehicle accident on the Trans Canada Highway, about halfway between Gander and Benton. Both lanes are currently blocked and as a result, the TCH will be impassable for some time. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
