Norman Benuen arrested by police

Norman Benuen was arrested on Thursday after presenting himself at Sheshatshiu RCMP Detachment. Sheshatshiu RCMP issued a media release yesterday looking to arrest the 19-year-old. He was wanted in relation to one charge of assault with a weapon.

Woman arrested for committing indecent act in St. John’s

On Thursday evening, the RNC responded to the downtown area of St. John’s regarding a report of suspicious activity. After conducting an investigation, a 40-year-old female was arrested and charged with committing an indecent act. She was held to appear in Provincial Court this morning.
