Regiment hope to take series lead in Cape Breton tonight
After splitting a weekend series to open the QMJHL playoffs, the NL Regiment are back in action tonight in Cape Breton against the Screaming Eagles.
Game 3 goes 7:30 tonight.
The Regiment, who finished third overall in the Eastern Conference, dropped a 3-2 decision Thursday in the opening game of the best-of-seven league quarterfinal series. They rebounded a day later with a statement 6-2 win before heading on the road.
Games 3, 4 and 5, if necessary, go this week in Cape Breton. A possible Game 6 will be played at Mary Brown’s Centre.
