Police warn of deteriorating road conditions
Burin Peninsula RCMP are advising that emergency crews are responding to a motor vehicle collision along Route 220 – commonly known by locals as Black Brook – between Marystown and Burin.
“Drivers should expect delays and are asked to drive with extreme caution and obey all directions from first responders at the scene,” the RCMP posted on social meda. “Road conditions in the area are extremely poor and deteriorating. Please consider delaying any non-essential travel. If you must travel, please exercise caution and patience and drive according to road and weather conditions. Remember: Snow means slow.”
