NL Health Services is warning of an increase in respiratory illnesses circulating in the community during this cold and flu season.

As a result, it is recommended all visitors and support persons visiting patients or residents wear a mask when on site.

Individuals may wear their own medical mask or a mask provided at the entrance of a health-care facility.

Visitors and support persons who are feeling unwell or sick should not visit patients or residents or accompany others to appointments.
