On Monday morning the RNC was called to a report of an unwelcome person in the Goulds area.

At the residence, officers learned that the resident was requesting assistance with an emergency protection order due to an ongoing problem in the home.

During the investigation, officers learned that the 43-year-old male never had a proper firearms license for the firearms in his possession.

He was charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm knowing it was unauthorized.

He was released to appear in court at a later date.
