RNC issues over 500 tickets during Canada Road Safety Week

The RNC caught several driver infractions during Canada Road Safety Week. Police issued over 500 tickets for infractions including impaired driving, distracted driving, aggressive driving and driving without a seatbelt. Wet roads for most of the morning drive

Roads in central and eastern Newfoundland are wet, and there are areas of drizzle. Along the west coast, roads are dry. In Labrador, roads are mostly wet with good visibility. Marine Atlantic and provincial ferries are operating on time. There are no flight delays in St. John’s, Gander, or Deer Lake.
