UPDATE: Police lift issue shelter-in-place order for Hatcher Street in St. John’s

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has lifted the shelter-in-place that had been issued for Hatcher Street and a section of University Avenue. Residents can resume normal activities. Officers will be in the area throughout the afternoon executing a warrant as part of an investigation by the Weapons and Drug Enforcement Unit.
