Premier Andrew Furey and Gudie Hutchings, federal Minister of Rural Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canadian Opportunities Agency will be in Gros Morne National Park for an announcement this morning.
The announcement will pertain to tourism projects in western Newfoundland and the Great Northern Peninsula.
The event will take place at the Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse in Rocky Harbour at 9:00 a.m.
Gros Morne National Park is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
