Shortly after 2:00 a.m., the RNC were called to a complaint of property damage in the city center of St. John’s.

Police discovered that the glass in several windows and doors had been broken out of a government building.

The 18-year-old male suspect was located a short time later and was charged with mischief.

He was held to appear in court in the morning.
