Ride sharing services are not yet in Newfoundland and Labrador. For some business owners and residents that continues to be a point of contention.  

The City of St. John’s has said the province needs to change some legislation before they can entertain it, but the province says the only thing stopping ride sharing, is that companies haven’t applied for it here. NTV’s Jodi Cooke has this report.
