Over the next few days, there will be several virtual ERs operating around the province.

There will be a virtual ER at the A.M. Guy Memorial Health Centre in Buchans due to human resource challenges from Friday, January 19 at 8:00 a.m. until Wednesday at 8:00 a.m.

There will also be a virtual ER at the Dr. Y.K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre in New-Wes-Valley due to human resource challenges from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. today and from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Virtual ERs will also take place at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Centre in Harbour Breton from Friday at 8:00 a.m. until Saturday at 8:00 a.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until Wednesday at 8:00 a.m.

At the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, there will be a virtual ER from 8:00 a.m. Sunday until Monday at 8:00 a.m. and on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until Wednesday at 8:00 a.m.

When a Virtual ER is operating, residents can proceed to the emergency department as usual. There will be a health care professional onsite, as well as a physician or nurse practitioner by video.
