Four teenaged boys arrested for brutally attacking a Prince of Wales Collegiate student in St. John’s last year will be sentenced over the next few months. The teens were originally charged with several counts, including attempted murder. However, following appearances in provincial court over the last few weeks, all four have agreed to plead guilty to aggravated assault. Sentencing for three of them is scheduled for Dec. 20, while one will be back for sentencing Jan. 25.
Tyler Greening, 18 at the time and the only adult charged, is also due back in court Jan. 25. He has yet to enter a plea. The five were arrested March 9, 2022, following the attack that happened on PWC parking lot. They seriously injured a male student who needed treatment at hospital to recover.
