Sunday evening the RNC were conducting radar checks on the Team Gushue Highway in St. John’s.
The officer observed a vehicle travelling 147 km/h in the 80 km/h zone.
The officer conducted a traffic stop. The 18-year-old female was issued a ticket for speeding 51 km/h over the posted limit.
Police seized her driver’s license and impounded the vehicle.
