A wanted man is in custody after the RNC witnessed the 30-year-old male walking in the downtown area of St. John’s at 4:05 p.m. on Thursday.

The wanted male ran from police and after a short foot chase, officers arrested the male on an outstanding warrant.

He was additionally charged with resisting arrest and breach of a release order.

The male will appear in court this morning.
