RNC responded to a residence in the Goulds around 5:30 Saturday evening to a report of threats. A 25-year-old female was arrested and charged with uttering threats, and making harassing phone calls. The woman was held to appear before a judge.

Police were called to the east end of St. John’s at 9:30 p.m. Saturday night to reports of a domestic disturbance. There a 37-year-old male was arrested for assault, overcoming resistance by choking and threats. The male was held to appear before a judge.

Just before 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, police conducted a traffic safety stop in the west end of St. John’s. Police located the suspect vehicle in Conception Bay South shortly before 2:30 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop and administered a roadside screening device for alcohol.
