United States President Donald Trump says Canada will be hit with 25 per cent tariffs across the board at midnight tonight.
Trump had first threatened the tariffs last month, but Canada and the U.S. agreed to a 30-day pause while they dealt with border security. But today Trump said there is no room left to negotiated a deal to avoid the tariffs coming into effect tomorrow.

The order initially tied the tariffs to the illegal flow of people and drugs across the borders. However, Trump previously said the delay would allow time for an “economic” deal.
