After issuing a warrant for his arrest Thursday, the RCMP now have Matthew Penunsi in custody.
Police issued an update just after 9 o’clock this morning.
On Thursday, Sheshatshiu RCMP notified the public that they were looking to arrest the 32-year-old, who was believed to be actively evading police.
Penunsi is currently facing the following charges:
- Aggravated Assault
- Assault by choking
- Uttering threats
- Breach of probation
- Breach of release order
