Almost 500 members of the Canadian Armed Forces, including a large contingent from the Royal Newfoundland Regiment, are heading to the arctic for the next two weeks.

It’s an operation to protect Canadian sovereignty at a time of increasing threats to the arctic and northern regions. NTV’s Jodi Cooke will be joining military members next week on the arctic mission, and she has this preview.
