NL Health Services says predicting end of flu season “challenging”

NL Health Services says they’re still monitoring respiratory illnesses and assessing the need for masking in health-care facilities and other settings based on evolving circumstances. The Respiratory Activity Dashboard offers the latest data on respiratory activity in the province. It adds however, predicting the end of flu seasons remains challenging due to unpredictable surges.
Today, a reminder that during flu season, it’s important to cover your cough, clean your hands regularly, and stay home if you’re sick. Masks remain readily available at health-care facilities.
