Police confirm two deaths on Aldershot Street as homicides
Police have confirmed two suspicious deaths in St. John’s are being investigated as homicides.
Two men, ages 38 and 53, were found dead inside an Aldershot Street home on Dec. 1. The RNC has been working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the causes of death.
The investigative team continues to canvass the area, review video and conduct interviews. No arrests have been made, but at this time there is no information to suggest that these were random attacks.
Officers are appealing for video footage from the Rabbittown neighbourhood from 8 p.m. Nov. 30 to 9 a.m. on Dec. 1. Anyone with information is urged to contact the RNC by calling 709-729-8000. The investigative team can also be reached directly by email at: report@rnc.gov.nl.ca.
