Lunch hour collision snarls traffic at busy west-end intersection
A two-vehicle collision at a busy St. John’s intersection over the lunch hour Wednesday caused traffic delays.
At about noon emergency crews were called to the intersection of Columbus Drive and Mundy Pond Road to attend the scene of a collision that caused significant damage to both vehicles involved.
The crash prompted a partial closure of the intersection as personnel worked and as the scene was cleared.
Paramedics assessed at least two people involved. None of the injuries sustained were believed to be serious.
