Overnight the RNC responded to a call of a domestic disturbance at a residential dwelling in St. John’s.
Police observed that a female at the residence had sustained moderate injuries.
Subsequently, a 19-year-old male was located a short distance away and was arrested without incident. The male was charged with assault causing bodily harm.
He was transported to the St. John’s City Lockup and will appear in court this morning.
