Police investigates break and enter to Canada Post office in Port Blandford

Clarenville RCMP is investigating a break, enter, and theft discovered early Sunday morning at the Canada Post office in Port Blandford. Police are turning to the public for their assistance in identifying the person or persons responsible.

The suspect(s) forced entry into the business sometime between 1:00 p.m. on Saturday January 24, and approximately 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, January 25. Windows were smashed to gain entry inside the building. Once inside the suspect(s) stole an undisclosed number of items.

The investigation is continuing, with support from the RCMP Forensic Identification Section (FIS).

Clarenville RCMP asks the public to check for any possible surveillance footage or dash camera footage obtained in the area around the estimated time frame of the crime, and to report any suspicious activity.
