Premier Andrew Furey has penned another letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to ask for a meeting to discuss alternatives to the carbon tax.

Furey is also asking for a pause to today’s increase.

In the letter, Furey said, “The reality remains – goods to our province must still be shipped, then trucked to and throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. There is no rail system or subway system.”
