On Thursday afternoon, RNC officers observed a vehicle driving erratically in the Downtown area of St. John’s.

Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled the area. The vehicle was later observed on the Outer Ring Road, and officers were able to stop the vehicle.

The 44-year-old man was arrested and charged with flight from police and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. The accused was held to appear in court.
