Winter storm slams much of Newfoundland, expected to last into Saturday
Schools, government offices and businesses were closed throughout parts of the island today as a nasty winter storm continues to slam the region. An estimated 50 to 80 centimetres of snow is expected to fall in the St. John’s region before it ends tomorrow. Here’s NTV’s Becky Daley.
