17-year-old driver stopped after travelling 153 km/h in Mount Pearl

RNC officers stopped a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Pitts Memorial Drive in Mount Pearl overnight. Police clocked the driver travelling 153 km/h in the posted 100 km/h zone. As a result of the traffic stop, a 17-year-old male had his driver’s license seized and his vehicle impounded for seven days.
