Man arrested after assault and not paying taxi fare

A 24-year-old man will appear in court after not paying for a taxi fare on Thursday. RNC responded to a complaint on Duckworth Street in St. John’s where a taxi driver reported being assaulted after not being paid for a fare.  The man was arrested and charged with assault and failure to pay a taxi fare.
