This remarkable musical tells the true story of 7,000 stranded passengers and the communities in Newfoundland and Labrador that welcomed them with open hearts following September 11, 2001.
Produced by You Are Here Inc., a Newfoundland and Labrador not-for-profit theatre company, the show is helmed by acclaimed local director Jillian Keiley and originating producer Michael Rubinoff. Over 30,000 people attended the sold-out seasons in 2023 and 2024, cementing its place as one of the province’s most beloved productions.
The creative team includes Tony and Grammy nominees Irene Sankoff and David Hein (book, music, and lyrics), with orchestrations by August Eriksmoen and arrangements by Ian Eisendrath. Additional credits include Marc Kimelman (Choreography), Jonathan Monro (Music Supervisor), Evan Watts Smith (Music Director), Shawn Kerwin (Scenic Design), Marie Sharpe (Costume Design), Leigh Ann Vardy (Lighting Design), Josh Liebert (Sound Design), and more.
