The SPCA says it has seen a surge in support from the community since Covid-19. So far this year, the SPCA has been able to care for over 1,000 animals that have come through their doors. In fact, they raised over $18,000 in August for their Paws on the Pond fundraiser, which they say is the largest amount since Covid-19 shutdown.
The SPCA continues to hold events and fundraisers, and eventually plans to expand its space to care for even more animals.
