The RNC responded to an assault complaint at a residence in St. John’s on Thursday morning.

Officers spoke with the complainant who stated that a youth in the home had sprayed her in the face with hand sanitizer.

The youth was arrested for assault with a weapon and she was taken into custody to await a court appearance.
