Tuesday evening the RNC responded to a disturbance at a residence in the west end of St. John’s.

Officers learned that one of the individuals involved had several outstanding arrest warrants.

When the officer approached the female suspect, she began to kick and punch and would not cooperate.

The 17-year-old female was eventually arrested and charged with assaulting a peace officer, uttering threats, assault and breach of a release order.
