With today being a holiday, the RNC will be out in full force taking additional steps to keep the roadways safe through “Operation Impact”.

The operation takes place from October 11 to 14 and is a national public awareness campaign to help prevent collisions, save lives, and reduce injuries on roadways.

Officers will be targeting impaired driving, as well as aggressive driving, distracted driving, and driving without a seat belt.
