Man arrested after assault in downtown St. John’s

Tuesday afternoon RNC patrol service responded to a residence in downtown St. John’s, to a report of an assault in progress. Police located the complainant who had injuries to his head and face. Officers arrested and charged a 31-year-old male with assault. The accused was held to appear in court.
