A number of motorists were ticketed yesterday for speeding in Terra Nova National Park.

RCMP Traffic Services set up a 90 km/h zone in Terra Nova Park, monitoring traffic for speeding violations.

Throughout approximately a two hour period, nine motorists were stopped and ticketed for speeds that were in excess of 30 km/h above the speed limit.

RCMP Traffic Services asks the public to please report incidents of dangerous driving.
