Minister of Health and Community Services Tom Osborne announced approximately $1.5 million in funding to support The Gathering Place.

The funding will assist with meal service increases, recruitment and retention of staff, facility cost increases, and added security expenses.

The Gathering Place is a non-profit organization that provides various forms of social services, support and advocacy for vulnerable people within the downtown St. John’s area.
