Mariner cruise ship to visit Corner Brook today

The Mariner cruise ship operated by Regent Seven Seas Cruises will visit Corner Brook today. The ship will be in port from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and carries 779 passengers. The Insignia, operated by Oceania Cruises, will visit Corner Brook on Thursday and again on November 3, rounding out the cruise ship season.

Around 9:30 p.m. Monday night, the RNC responded to a call of a disturbance at a residence in the west end of St. John’s. A female homeowner and her adult son had just been assaulted by her tenant.
