Man arrested after assaulting police officer
On Tuesday evening at 11:30 p.m., the RNC responded to a call involving an intoxicated male in the metro region.
The male was not cooperative with officers and assaulted one of them.
The 55-year-old male was arrested for assaulting a peace officer and resisting arrest.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court this morning.
