Local’s fishing encounter family of whales in CBS
A day on the water cod fishing turned into a show for one local boat operator and friends as a family of whales swarmed around the boat, preventing them from moving too far. The operator, said he was afraid he would injure one of them, and slowly took his time leaving the area. He took to social media saying they did no pursue the whales, but reminding residents they are in our waters and to take great caution. The video quickly took off on social media, with more than seven thousand likes, and over 500,000 views.
