Local enthusiasts excited to see Artemis II blast off to the moon
The countdown is on for Artemis II, and if all goes according to plan, Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen and three crew mates will blast off on a 10-day mission around the Moon, marking a major milestone in a project more than a decade in the making, one that includes research conducted right here in Newfoundland and Labrador and contributions that could help shape the future of humankind.
