At 1:30 a.m. RNC officers responded to the downtown area of St. John’s where an individual was reported to be trespassing.
The male suspect was located in the area.
The man was arrested and charged with trespassing at night, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer.
The accused will appear in court today.
